With GHN’s support, the deplorable and antiquated structure was gutted and totally remodeled.

Principal James noted that not only was the upgrade critical, but it supported a broader educational purpose by instilling pride and confidence in the boys, giving them a sense of self-worth, despite their challenging personal situations.

How has the renovation of the PE building has impacted the activities of the school. What is the importance of the building now?

The renovation of the PE building has impacted the activities of the school positively.

The learning environment has been greatly improved as it is extremely beneficial to the teaching and learning process. The area is safe and welcoming to teachers and students.
The changing rooms, kitchen, bathrooms and classrooms are suited for training camps and teaching sessions.
The importance of this building is a key factor in improving sports, academics and the wellbeing of students.

Here is the completed scope of work
Physical Education Building:
1. Fourteen sections of the Building totally renovated to include:
* 3 bathrooms
* 1 general shower area
* 2 Passage area accommodating bathrooms and emergency exit points
* 2 classrooms
* 2 large classrooms
* 1 kitchen
* 1 room for sleeping purposes
* 1 administrative office
* 1 room for storage
Donation to GHN by UNI Healthcare Inc., C/O Dr. Binzie Roy Davidson $10,000.00 for Renovation of Little London High School Boys Bathroom.
